After almost six years as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow within the Gemmell group, Dr Erica Todd has left us to take up a new position as Lecturer in Marine Genomics at Deakin University in Geelong, Australia.

Erica’s leadership skills within the sex-changing fish group in our lab, and her experience in applying molecular biological and genomics approaches to aquatic systems will certainly make her a valuable addition to the team at Deakin, and we know the staff and students there will appreciate her as much as we did.

We are very sad to see her go, but we wish her all the best in her new role. Her family in Australia will be happy to have her back on the other side of the ditch after such a long time away, but we hope that she returns to visit us in the future.

Congratulations and good luck, Erica!
