At the 238th meeting of the Otago Medical School Research Society, the Summer Student Speaker Awards were held. Upon abstract submission, ten students were selected to present health-related research that was carried out over the summer period. These abstracts will be published in the New Zealand medical journal. Jodi won the runner-up speakers award for her presentation titled 'Investigating early genetic regulators of sex change in labrid fish'.
